Mark worked on the first day and I did chores until lunch time. Then I ate this tomato, warm from the garden, for lunch. After that, thrifting with my daughter and my son’s girlfriend. We had hard core thrifting intentions but somehow we wound up here:
waiting for my husband and son. Because of this, two beers turned into 4. Thanks goodness we were rescued by our knights in shining pickup trucks.
Exhausted, beer-buzzed from sitting in a dive bar and generally pleased with the first real day I’ve had completely to myself in *ages*, we came home, had flounder browned in butter for supper and called it a night.
