Garden Update, mid-June

Amazing what a few weeks can change, isn’t it?

Our vegetable garden is small this year because we will be gone for several weeks. (Note to potential thieves, our housesitter and family members who won’t be leaving with us will shoot your ass. Don’t try.) But even small can be exciting. Check these out:

We have green tomatoes and if none of them are ripe before we leave, I’m frying a green one for breakfast before I leave. We are enjoying carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, and herbs now. This small garden is probably the nicest one we’ve had in years.
