We spent the weekend working around the house, much of the work was outside. Mark took down a big gum tree that wasn’t in the best of health. Or so we thought. It was a bit sad how the tree wouldn’t fall and a bit funny watching Mark at war with a tree. In the end, Mark won.

Look at the wedge cut in there. At this point the trunk was completely severed, yet it would not fall.
Eventually though sweat, brains and power tools won out and the tree was Going…
And there was sunshine and light in our yard like never before and we were glad.
The End
