Popping In Quickly, with Gnomes

From MTBar Farm

Martina plays a lot under our willow tree. Last night the fairies visited and left a little gift for the loving care of Grandmother Willow…gnome hats.
It is amazing to me watching the full blown innocence and purity with which this child approaches life. She is so honest and filled with magic and belief and charm that I am sometimes overwhelmed by the blessing of her. She knows, absolutely, that fairies exist, despite a few wet-blanket, hard-core realist friends who suspect she’s being taken in.
In this world I think that a belief in magic is a salve to the soul, even when our perspective on the roots of the magic begins to change and become more adult. Even when you have to squint and pretend a little to see the fairies out in the garden at nighttime. Even when life sucks, especially when life sucks, that belief in magic can bring you up into the sunshine.
